This is an early free blown pontiled blackglass case gin bottle with an unusual applied square ring collar!...no embossing...Free blown, so there are no mold seams....improved "sand" pontil sunken bottom pushed up to form "footed" base corners....dark olive green...tapered square case gin...8 3/4"tall...Sparkling near mint condition with no chips or damage of any kind. A nice clean attic bottle with no haze....I dont ever recall seeing an early pontiled case gin bottle with this kind of odd square ring lip! .....
