I was a Sr. Global Exec. with Wyeth for many years until the buy-out by Pfizer. So over those years I started a large collection of Wyeth memorabilia that I kept in a glass case in my office. This was one of my priced pieces because of the matching bottle and cap. The condition is flawless, no damage or cracks, etc. I was always buying and trading up pieces as I ran across new ones at auctions / flea markets - so this is the best after searching for 25 years. The writing on the cap is a Hoot - In the center it says - "This Cap Holds" - then around the circumference it says " A Heaping Dessert Spoon Ful " - with intentional mis-spelling of "Full" because there wasn't enough room - and the reference to a dessert spoon back in the 1900's instead of teaspoon etc. This same bottle was used for dozens of different apothacaries - all came down to the label - and we did invent re-cycling - NOPE, the Rx Industry did 120 years ago - they gave cash refunds to any bottles return to Wyeth in Phila. usually through the apothecaries - who kept 50%. Bottle is approx. 6" tall & 2' square. May 16th 1893 patent date on bottom. Anyway, if you are a collector - or know one - this is a perfect piece and will not disappoint.
