(3) Vintage Bottles

This listing is for a set of three (3) vintage bottles.
The first is a 32oz amber Depression-era Suntex Bleach bottle. It was made by the Whitall-Tatum Company, between 1924 and 1938. The word "Suntex" is raised on the glass in two (2) places on the neck, two (2) places on the shoulder and four (4) places around the bottom edge, along with the inverted triangle containing the letters "W T", the Whitall-Tatum mark.
Embossed in the bottom is "REG. US. PAT. OFF." around the word "Suntex".
It measures 9" high and 3 1/8" across at its widest point. It has no chips, cracks or nicks other than a tiny flea bite at the bottom of the "x" in one of the "Suntex" raised words along the bottom edge. It can be seen in the photo of the bottle bottom. I can only assume that what is inside the bottle is bleach that would have dried out over time, as the original cork is still securely stuck in the mouth, as shown in another photo.
The second is a nearly 100-year-old 12oz clear medicine bottle. The raised wording on the bottle front reads, "Solution Citrate Magnesia", which was used for constipation and upset stomach in its time. Below that are the directions, also raised, which read, "Dose - Adults one half to one bottle as desired. Children in proportion to age". The bottle was made by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company factory in Gas City, Indiana around - I believe - 1931, based on the factory and date codes on the bottom of the bottle which read, "12" (factory mark) next to the diamond and O (oval) entwined, with an "I" in the center (trademark), then a "1" on the right (date). It stands 8" high and is 2 3/4" across at its widest point. It still has its original porcelain cap and rubber stopper attached. It has no chips or cracks, other than the cracks in the rubber stopper, due to age.
The third bottle is an 8oz clear glass Vitalis hair tonic bottle. The bottle would never have had a label, as it is all raised lettering molded into the glass. The front reads, "Lewis Brothers New York" with "Contents: 8 Fl. Oz." along the bottom edge. On the back of the bottle along the bottom edge is the number "13". On the bottom is the word "Vitalis" surrounded by "NY Bottle Rec. Property of Lewis Bros.". I believe this bottle to be pre-1940s. Note in the photo how uneven the inside bottom of the glass is. It stands 6 14/16" tall and is 2 5/16" at its widest point. It has not been cleaned (I recommend denture cleanser tablets) and has one chip in the shoulder (shown in the last photo).
