A Novelty Hobo Hillbilly Clown Figurines Liquor Bottle Accents Rare

A Vintage Rare Novelty Hobo Hillbilly Clown Figurines Pair. Empty Liquor Bottle Accents. Fun, collectible bar decor. As found, this pair is in good condition, albeit a little dusty with some soiling. I did not try to clean them for fear of damaging them. I could not find another set as a reference, so I’m not sure if these are made in Japan, elsewhere, or hand crafted. They both have a rubber face, burlap clothes that have faded red bandanna and cloth patch accents. Not sure what the material is under the burlap, possibly wood on one and plastic on the other. The hillbilly lady is holding an empty Drambuie liquor bottle, that is a small size, typical of bottles you purchase on airplanes. There is a pipe cleaner bee resting on the opening of the bottle. She has a plastic beer mug in her other hand. Her straw type hat has a green ribbon bow and her glasses are in tact. She has a cloth sticker on her dress that reads “I Love You”. She measures approximately 13” tall. The hobo clown is holding an empty Southern Comfort liquor bottle, small size and has a plastic champagne glass in his other hand. He has a burlap hat with a patch, a big felt bow tie and faded red bandana scarf. He measures approximately 12.5” tall. This set weighs over 3 pounds without a box. This unique pair would make a fun addition to your bar decor, and a great conversation starter.
