Antique Blue Seltzer Bottle 26 oz Good Health Seltzer NJ Made in

Antique blue glass seltzer/siphon bottle made in Czechoslovakia circa 1920's. The bottle is 11" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter. Made of thick glass, it weighs nearly 3 1/2 pounds. The bottle is acid etched on the front, "Good Health Seltzer of New Jersey, Newark, NJ, Cap.26 oz". The bottle is etched with "Bottle Made in Czechoslovakia". There is a partial paper label on the top of the bottle body. Seltzer bottles were made in Eastern Europe prior to WWII when all the factories were destroyed. This bottle comes with all its original components, silver-tone metal screw-on top with dispenser lever, 2 piece silver-tone metal collar, rubber seal and metal tipped glass straw. All the pieces are in great condition without any breakage. The bottom has some small flea bites around the bottom and some small nicks on the side from years of use. The bottle and straw have mineral deposits from age. I let both soak in warm water with distilled vinegar and dish detergent and got a lot of it out. I believe you can clean more out by soaking in the same solution and using kosher salt before it dissolves and swishing it around. This should loosen up more of the sediment. To open the bottle, hold the 2 piece collar that is around the neck and turn the top with the lever on it to the left. This bottle makes a great display piece for a bar or in a man cave!!
