14 fluid ounce embossed amber glass flask bottle marked VINOL PRIVATE MOULD PATENT APRIL19 1898. Late 1800s blown molded quack med with 10 percent alcohol, pre probation for medicinal purposes, quack medicine manufactured by Chester Kent & Co. Boston Mass, USA. Iron rod pontiff uneven side seams that end at the applied top. Original label mostly intact. For children and weak women remedy. With some beneficial herbs. It has its original cap with bail wire and original red and white paint. Cleaned gently not to disturb the rare paper label. It has not been opened to clean the interior for the cap preservation, but there is very little cloudiness inside if any. No chips or cracks. Empty bottle collectable with the rare glass maker mark D that is a little blurry. From my research it is made by Dean, Foster Co, Glass Boston Mass. USA, which makes it even more rare, this glass bottle manufacturer operated from 1874 to 1911 Which fits the manufactures state and purpose being the Mass, glass maker is known for making medicine bottles during the date on the bottle. Review photos for complete bottle description, taken very bright direct sun and with flash. 7" tall, 5" across the widest point, 2 1/2" at the deepest point. Rounded tapper long neck decanter bottle shape.
