This long narrow glass perfume bottle was probably made to hold rose or lavender oil. It is just short of 5 inches in height. The glass stopper is intact but I did not attempt to remove as the original oil or perfume as acted as a glue and I was afraid to break it. If properly cleaned and oil removed from top it may separate. It seems as the stopper is intact but cannot determine 100%. The glass is cut with shallow facets and decorated with gold gilding. The bottle was made in either England or Bohemia in the late eighteenth century. This lovely example is hand blown, ribbed to the sided and ‘thumb print’ depressed to the upper most for ease when holding. Little hand etched bevels for detail adorn it as well.Richly hand decorated with gold gilding this exquisite Georgian bottle is a must for the collector. The bottle is intact as is most of the gold gilding. Please see photos for condition.
