Antique/Vintage 1950-1960's Glass Coca Cola Bottle HANDMADE Hippy Bracelet!
I was going thru things and this turned up... I completely forgot about it! Sure brings back memories...
I had it stored in a small box with some other High School Vietnam era pieces.
This is really a "bitchen" piece. Like really GROOVY! (lol)
This was made from the upper half of an old Coke bottle with all raised lettering and patent info displayed.
Each half
of the bracelet ( approx.
) measures as follows:
Width ~ 2.5"
Height ~ 1.75"
Thickness ~ .25" (1/4)
Weight ~ 2.8 oz.
Full Circumference ~ 7.5"
The rings are original and the lobster claw closure, I replaced decades ago because the bent wire hook broke.
It really is a very cool handmade conversation piece.
Hah, just remembered this is during the era when we ALL
wanted glass cutters for Christmas... OMG!
My images provided show great detail up close. There are a few small chips, here and there, on the edges and around the drilled holes where the rings are inserted. (see images)
Would make a very unique, historical, artistic, "PEACE"ful gift!
