Evolution of the Coca-Cola Contour Bottle
Box Set of 6 Miniature Bottles
Approximately 3" Tall
Includes Bottle Years:
1899, 1900, 1915 Prototype, 1915 Patent,
1957, and 1986
I purchased this set from the Coca-Cola
Store in New York City when it was first
released. Box set was displayed unopened
in original packaging on a shelf for
approximately 10 years then packed away.
In Good Used Condition--
Notes on condition:
I never removed the glass bottles from the
box. Upon examination for listing, I noticed
one bottle--1957 (second in right in photos
with "Coca Cola" in white writing)
had leaked a bit from top cap area. I have
not removed the bottles, I'm keeping them in
the plastic because I do not like to take
chances with vintage aged items. I'll leave
that up to the Buyer if want to remove them.
Not much leaked out of that bottle and you
can not see the leaked cola from the front
when it's in the display cardboard box. See
Photos #10 and #11 and zoom in to see
where leaked and dried up--can leave it
or take bottle out to clean plastic/bottle.
All other bottles appear to be in excellent
condition.
The clear plastic top cover has one corner split that is Not seen when inserted in the
cardboard box and does not cause any
issues--See Photo #15
There is also minor scuffs/wear to the
plastic front from age and storage.
The cardboard box is in very good condition
with minimal wear--top side will need a
little wipe down, but again leaving that up
to the Buyer.
