FLAWLESS... bright, shiny, no chips, no cracks, definitely not a dug bottle, looks like it was drank and then hidden in a barn ever since. It doesn't have any of the common rub-marks on its wide shoulders or base.
1920s Bottle... flappers were around when these bottles were new!
I love the art deco inspired curves and lines of this bottle.

"Nu Icy - Flavors You Can't Forget" at the top and near the skirt, "Minimum Contents Full Half Pint - Bottle Pat'd March 9, 1920". Nu Icy was a product developed by NuGrape in Atlanta, GA. Various bottlers, including ones in Richmond, VA, Washington D.C. and Charlotte, NC distributed Nu Icy in the 1920s and 1930s. Nu Icy advertisements boasted that the soda was "the Triumph of Beverage Perfection" and "the greatest masterpieces in flavor on the American market... flavors you can't forget... perfect refreshment for the price of 5 cent." See the last picture in the series for one of their original advertisments.
