TracerX Trekking Company Here is a nice Dried Bottle Gourd Grown by me in Bryan, TX.  It's a bit over 12" tall. This is a sturdy gourd complete with seeds. It measures just over 19" around its girth,  that should give you an idea of the size overall. I have not stained, painted or changed this gourd since harvesting.  I have only given it a light cleaning.  You can do whatever you want to this gourd  including making a very nice birdhouse or paint it like a  penguin or whatever.
