From 1931 through 1966, the Coca Cola Company commissioned artist Haddon Sundblom to create Santa Claus illustrations for its Christmas advertising campaigns. Since then, people everywhere has defined their image of Santa Claus through Sundblom's paintings. Every year, Coca Cola brings these classic images to you, as part of their special holiday bottles. Santa Claus, as we know him today, wasn't always a fat, jolly, old man with a white beard and a red suit. Before the 1920's he was depicted as an old gaunt, skinny man. Some drawings show him as a scary looking old elf. Haddon Sundblom's drawings showed Santa delivering toys, playing with them, pausing to read a letter while enjoying a Coke, visiting the kids that stayed up late, and raiding many refrigerators., etc. This one features Santa taking a break with the adoring kids. This is a very limited edition, there were only 2592 bottles made. This is a full 8 oz. hobbleskirt Coca Cola bottle. It is perfect, and the gold cap is brilliant. Shipping for this bottle will be only $9.00, anywhere in the U.S. for 2-4 day mail. If you like, and purchase more of my many asst bottles, I will ship them FREE with this one.
