J. Roberts Castleford Codd's Extra Strong Aqua Glass Bottle With Blue

This auction is for a J. Roberts Castleford Codd's extra strong aqua glass 10 oz. bottle with interior blue marble stopper/seal. Design was patented in the 1870's and used into the 1920's. Originally the pressure of the soda in the bottle pushed the marble into the neck to help seal the bottle. When pouring, the marble will rest between the side indentations in the glass to allow the soda to pass. The bottle is 9.5" tall and in excellent condition. This auction is for a J.
