This product comes in a small pill bottle AND in the large cobalt blue liquid syrup, this bottle.  It was the predecessor to Milk of Magnesia, a liquid taken by the spoonful for treating heart burn, upset stomach, dyspepsia, indigestion, etc. It is quite rare to find one of these larger bottles as they just didn't make that many.   It is of course, even rarer to find one with the label, especially one as fully legible as this one is. This is quite possibly the NICEST EXAMPLE of this BOTTLE IN EXISTENCE, it is that pristine clean, BOLDLY embossed, a MODEL of a BOTTLE! As mentioned, these also came in a small pill bottle, just like this one is large and beautiful, the little flasks are small and beautiful. NOTE that this was advertised as an 'ELIXIR', which is the first word on the label.
