Murano Italian Salviati Bullicante Gold Aventurine Art Deco Glass Perfume Bottle
Click images to enlarge Description I just purchased this vintage Italian art glass perfume bottle from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The piece has a striking vintage design with bullicante / controlled bubble décor against a rich cobalt blue ground and fine gold mica dust highlights. The bottle has a pewter mount / stopper with fine engraved floral / foliate detail. The piece measures 3 7/8" high and 1 5/8" in diameter. The slightly recessed base has a small pontil mark. The perfume is in very good condition with no damage. The interior of the stopper shows no traces of plaster so I don't suspect it ever had a dabber. This bullicante design would make a fun addition to your collection of Murano (Salviati?) art glass or vintage perfume bottles / vanity accessories.
