Dr. Pepper's sales were doing very well in the early 70's. So, in 1972, Coca Cola started making a product to compete with Dr. Pepper. Coca Cola called the original drink, "Peppo". However, Dr. Pepper sued Coca Cola and the name was changed to "Mr. Pibb". They test marketed Mr. Pibb right in Dr. Pepper's backyard, in several Texas communities. Over the years, Coca Cola has changed the formula and color a bit, but never have duplicated the success of Dr. Pepper. This is a very rare empty bottle of "Sugar Free Mr. Pibb". It is a tall 10 oz. bottle with brilliant ACL labels, duplicate on the front and back. The painted labels are all perfect. The glass is perfectly clear. There are 2 lines of case wear, but absolutely no chips. Shipping for this bottle will be only $9.00, anywhere in the U.S. for 2-4 day mail. If you choose to purchase another of my many asst. bottles, I will ship it FREE with this one.
