Open Pontil Civil War Era Wooden Traveling Inkwell Lignum Vitae

Very nice open pontiled rolled lip civil war soldiers inkwell. Open pontil can be seen when looking directly down into the bottle towards the bottom (see photo 4). The wooden case and lid both have a crack, but the glass bottle itself is in excellent condition with no issues! The lid does not fully screw on, possibly due to the crack. I do my best to write accurate descriptions and mention any damage or other issues, but please use the photos to judge the overall condition for yourself.
