Pontiled Ayer's Concentrated Compound Extract of Sarsaparilla

Offered for sale is a 7 ¾-inch-tall medicine embossed with “Ayer's // Concentrated // Compound / Extract of / Sarsaparilla // Lowell, Mass.” Bottle has been lightly tumbled. It has a double-collar applied top, a nice aqua color, beautiful whittling, and an open-pontil base.  There are no chips, cracks, or bruises but it does have an onion-skin open bubble on the edge where two panels come together.  Bubble is hard to see and was nicely smoothed out by tumbling.  You can barely make it out in photo #8, middle of the frame.  Glass is clean and embossing is strong.  These are generally common bottles, but not pontiled.  A gorgeous specimen!  Please check all photos before purchasing.
