Rare Dayton Mineral Water Co. Antique Bottle. Marked D&S on the bottom.
We are guessing this is from the early 1900s, but Pricetronic's bottle category for mineral waters only has an option available for classifying it as "pre-1900." If this is not from the 1890s, then it's not too much later, but please understand we are not saying this is a 19th century bottle. We are saying it is an antique Mineral Water bottle, pre-1930s.
We could not find another example of this bottle.
This was possibly dug from the ground and has some gunk and stains inside. The outside isn't covered with scuffs, although it has some, so maybe it wasn't totally buried. There are some of those rainbow-colored reflections on the outside in the spot where there is the most dirt on the inside.
Condition: No chips or cracks. There are some dings and scuffs/scratches. Needs a good cleaning (we cannot guarantee how clean it will come). See all photos.
