This signed and dated (1987) hand blown glass Perfume Bottle is by Tom Philabaum of Philabaum Glass Gallery In Tucson, Arizona. It was purchased directly from the artist and has been in my collection since 1987. I never used it—just lovingly displayed in a glass cabinet. It is in perfect condition—no chips or cracks. It measures 5 1/2” tall by 3 1/2” wide by 3” deep. This is multiple layers of glass. The front has been cut back and polished while the back has an iridescent sheen. Tom studied glass blowing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under Harvey Littleton (the father of American Studio Art Glass). Tom opened his Tucson gallery in 1982. He Retired from glassblowing in 2018 and sold his studio in 2020. Please view all the photos as they are considered part of this description.
