Two Vintage Vaseline Hair Tonic for men. Two 4 fl. oz. glass bottles of hair tonic in their original boxes.
Both bottles are empty. Manufactured by Chesebrough-Pond's.
I believe they are from the 1950s based on the coupon on the back.
Would make an effective movie or stage prop.
Condition: Boxes have some dust on the top. I did not attempt to remove it or clean for fear of damaging them. Boxes shows some signs of age but are in very good overall condition. There is some scuffing on the top of the boxes, edge wear and some signs of wear at the top flap where the box has been opened. They smell like they have been in storage for a long time.
According to the box, Vaseline Hair Tonic grooms to last, fights dry scalp fast and supplements natural scalp oil.
Inner flaps advertise Vaseline Lip-Ice Pomade. The Vaseline Lip-Ice on the inner flap is billed as having a "new swivel stick case,"
