vintage Lentheric perfume bottle #1, deco stepped design, Shanghai? 1930s, loose early plastic cap. For Shanghai perfume? The Lentheric perfume house was founded at the end of 19th century in France by hairdresser Guillaume Lenthéric. The company eventually moved to the US and was bought by Bristol Meyers. This bottle dates to the US years and the art deco era--just look at those geometric lines! It is a beautiful reminder of the era's elegance. It comes with a caramel-colored top, but the top does not screw on tight. I have cleaned the outside up but left the inside alone; you can see a bit of the scent's traces remains, though I can't really smell something special. Measures about 2.5 inches wide. I have two of these bottles. They are in comparable condition, though the label at the neck of #2 is in slightly better condition. Please see all photos to be sure you're getting the one you would like. Passing through a nonsmoking, pet-friendly home. Thank you for looking!
