Vintage Dunbar Glass Bedside Water Carafe Pitcher Bottle - Elegant Lid Cup 1940s What we now call a bedside carafe was initially named a tumble up set. The small glass known as the tumble doubled as the lid. The tumbler fits inside the neck of the carafe so that any leftover water goes back into the pitcher and there is no dripping down the sides. There is a small pouring lip to the top edge to make pouring easier. Crystal clear handblown glass with large trapped bubbles! Made in West Virginia, USA. Perfect for those like me that get quite thirsty during the night. This elegantly timeless piece would make a very thoughtful, unique (yet practical) gift! EXCELLENT Condition -No chips, cracks, or damage. Only a few faint scratches in glass from use. Comes from a very clean, odor free home.
