WHEATON Glass Commemorative Bottle President Gerald Ford A commemorative bottle from the Wheaton Glass Presidents series, this one featuring Gerald Ford who served as the 38th president of the United States from1974 to 1977. “The Non-Elected President” – meaning he was appointed by Nixon to serve as Vice-President after Spiro Agnew resigned, then becoming President when Richard Nixon resigned. An inscription on the back of the bottle reads: ” I believe truth is the glue that holds government together. Gerald Ford” Height approximately 8 inches (about 20 cm).
